Whilst on holiday in Snowdonia in the Autumn I chanced upon the most beautiful bag in a shop - it was made by a company called Voyage and it was absolutely love at first sight. Of course the bag went straight on my Christmas list, so you can imagine how delighted I was when the bag in question fell down my chimney Christmas morning - straight away I thought of you, as I knew many of you would love it as much as I do ...

The name of this particular design is 'Enchanted Forest' and it's made of Linen and leather, but voyage have a huge array of different designs, from country-inspired scenes to more stylish, vibrant designs. I fell in love with their nature-inspired line, which features country scenes, rabbits, stags, hens, wild flowers and much more, all in this soft, muted watercolour style.

Aside from bags they stock a whole range of soft furnishings in these fabrics, from footstools, armchairs, cushions and lampshade, and they are all exquisite. 

Some items can work out quite expensive, but they also sell just the fabric! so I have decided to treat myself to some in order to make some lovely things, starting with a lampshade ... so I'll be sure to keep you posted on my progress.

The only problem is, I love my new bag so much I'm reluctant to use it for fear of making it grubby! Still, lovely things are for using so it is now my new knitting bag :-) Voyage don't actually sell items via their website but they do have list of stockist so you can find your nearest outlet there. This bag in particular is currently on sale in Curiosity Interiors but you'll also find handmade Voyage items on eBay and Etsy.
