I bought this lovely little old tin from a flea market in Amsterdam a couple of years ago, and I've been trying to find the perfect use for it. Then it struck me (no pun intended!) ... I'll turn it into a  matchbox!  It's much easier to use and now sits on the mantle looking pretty and proud of itself for being so useful :-) better still - it takes less than a minute to make.

double sided sticky tape (or glue)

Simply cut the ... er, whatsit strips from the matchbox, and stick them to the bottom of the tin 

(NOT the inside - that's a possible fire hazard).
